Paul Taylor American Modern Dance’s coming season will feature the sophomore edition of “Icons,” a mixed bill that is to include works by Isadora Duncan (1877-1927), Trisha Brown (1937-2017) and Mr. Taylor, 87, the company announced on Friday.

The program, on March 18, is among the highlights of the Taylor season at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center, March 7 through March 25.

“Icons,” a late addition to the most recent Taylor season, brought together three dance companies to perform works by Mr. Taylor, Martha Graham and Merce Cunningham. Next season’s triple bill will feature the Taylor dancers; Sara Mearns, a principal dancer with New York City Ballet; and the Trisha Brown Dance Company.

Ms. Mearns will perform in “Dances of Isadora,” reconstructed by Lori Belilove, artistic director of the Isadora Duncan Dance Company, named for the influential modern dance pioneer. The work was staged earlier this year at the Joyce Theater; the critic Alastair Macaulay of The New York Times wrote that Ms. Mearns’s “collaboration with Ms. Belilove is the most important occasion to date of a ballet star working directly with the Duncan legacy.”

The Trisha Brown dancers will perform “Set and Reset” (1983), with music by Laurie Anderson and set and costumes by Robert Rauschenberg. And Mr. Taylor’s company will dance one of his masterpieces, “Esplanade” (1975), set to Bach.

As with last season, the “Icons” program will be produced with the American Dance Festival in North Carolina.

Other highlights include the premiere of the Mr. Taylor’s 147th work, which is still untitled. The choreographers Doug Varone and Bryan Arias will also present new works as part of the program Taylor Company Commissions, which was created in 2015 and has so far produced dances by Doug Elkins, Larry Keigwin and Lila York.
