Jerry Seinfeld revisits his most memorable bits in a new special. And Paula Patton must outpace time in the season finale of “Somewhere Between.”

What’s Streaming

JERRY BEFORE SEINFELD (2017) on Netflix. This new stand-up special brings Jerry Seinfeld back to the comedy club he frequented in his early days. He shares childhood memories and performs some of his best material from the ’70s. Pair it with his Emmy-nominated talk show COMEDIANS IN CARS GETTING COFFEE on Crackle, in which Mr. Seinfeld, a car enthusiast, takes a guest comic for a caffeine-fueled ride and plenty of laughs. The show will arrive on Netflix later this year.

THE STATE I AM IN (2000) on Mubi. Jeanne (Julia Hummer), a teenager, seeks normalcy after a life on the run with her anarchist fugitive parents, Clara (Barbara Auer) and Hans (Richy Müller), in this theatrical debut by the German director Christian Petzold. This suspenseful drama follows the family members as their plan to make a final escape from Europe derails, forcing them to return to Germany. Upon their arrival, Jeanne is torn over whether she should keep up the secrecy for the sake of her parents’ security or share her deviant life with her new beau (Bilge Bingul).

THE LOST CITY OF Z (2017) on iTunes and Amazon. Adapted from the 2009 nonfiction book by David Grann, this adventure centers on the British explorer Percy Fawcett (Charlie Hunnam) as he searches for a fabled advanced civilization deep in the Amazon. Enamored of the jungle’s nature and natives, Fawcett repeatedly leaves his wife and children behind to continue his quest. “There’s much to love in this film,” Manohla Dargis wrote in The New York Times, “but what lingers are those lapidary details that often go missing in stories about great men, as if they had built the world alone and no child had ever raced down a road waving goodbye as a father disappeared into history.”

ELLEN’S SHOW ME MORE SHOW on YouTube. Kim Kardashian, Demi Lovato and the internet child star Noah Ritter partake in silly games in Ellen DeGeneres’s new talk show.
