Nominations for this year’s Tony Awards, which honor plays and musicals performed on Broadway, are being announced on Tuesday morning in New York.

Here’s how to watch (hang on, because it’s a little confusing):

The nominations for a few of the best-known categories (presumably including the best shows and best performances) are scheduled to be announced at around 8:30 a.m. Eastern on “CBS Mornings.”

Then at 9 a.m., all the nominations will be announced on the Tony Awards’s YouTube page.

The nominations are to be announced by Lea Michele, who is currently starring in a revival of “Funny Girl,” and Myles Frost, who recently stepped down from his starring role in “MJ,” a Michael Jackson biomusical.

There are 26 competitive categories, and the Tonys hand out some noncompetitive awards as well. The Tony Awards ceremony, presented by the Broadway League and the American Theater Wing, will be on June 11.

To be eligible for this year’s Tony Awards, shows must have opened between April 29, 2022, and April 27, 2023.
